It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death today, Wednesday 1st December 2021, of Mr George O’Dwyer, No 19 Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his loving wife Josie and cherished daughter Marian; Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his daughters Rita, Siobhan, Geraldine, Colette, and son Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of close friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr O’Dwyer will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening, December 3rd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
His body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Saturday morning, December 4th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr O’Dwyer, but are unable to do so; same can be viewed online HERE.
