Death Of Pat Gleeson, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 4th September 2021, of Mr Pat Gleeson, Millbrook, Archerstown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Earlshill, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Predeceased by his son-in-law Patrick; Mr Gleeson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while under the care of staff of UPMC Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny city, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted wife Sheila, daughters Teresa, Mairead, Sheila and Lorraine, sons Frank, Declan and PJ, grandchildren, sons-in-law Pat and Cathal, daughters-in-law Caroline, Sonia and Emily, brothers Tim, Tony and Joe, sisters Nora, Mary and Breda, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Gleeson will repose at his place of residence, for neighbours and friends, on Monday evening, September 6th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
His body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Tuesday morning, September 7th, at 10.30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Gleeson, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.
