Death Of Richard Spellacy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with the deepest regret and sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 11th August 2021, of Mr Richard Spellacy, George’s Park, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his daughter Niamh, brother Johnny and sisters Evelyn and Mary; Mr Spellacy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny city, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Catherine (Colleen), immediate family Daithí, Gina, Damien, Keith, Verona, Karl and Donna, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends .

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Spellacy will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny on tomorrow evening, Friday August 13th, 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
His body will be received into of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles on Saturday morning, August 14th, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Fennor Cemetery, Castle Court, Fennor, Co. Tipperary.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners) will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
