It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 11th December 2020, of Fr. John (Jack) Ryan, Dublin Road, Silvermines, Co. Tipperary and late of Knockfune, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Fr. Ryan (D.RE, M.Sc., CMIGC), passed away peacefully, while in the care of Rivervale Nursing Home, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Fr. Ryan, in the sixty sixth year of his ordination to the priesthood, had retired as a priest of the Diocese of Alexandria, U.S.A. and previously Missionary Oblate, Australia.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his brother Peter; sisters Winnie, Josie and Annie; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and a circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Fr. Ryan will repose for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Little Flower, Curreeney, Lakin, Kilcommon Co. Tipperary on Sunday afternoon next, December 13th, at 1.00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
