25 new killer Covid-19 virus cases confirmed in Co. Tipperary
The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have been sadly 2 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,915
There are 552 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 62,002, (six confirmed cases de-notified).
Of this evening’s confirmed cases; 25 are in Co. Tipperary (Total 1,185 cases to date, per RTE summary); 173 are in Dublin; 86 in Cork; 40 in Limerick;, 30 in Donegal; with the remaining 198 cases are across all remaining counties.
Currently, there are 330 confirmed cases of Covid-19 recorded nationally in our Irish State hospitals, with 47 of these patients in intensive care units, (ICU’s).
There are 685 new cases in Northern Ireland, with sadly a further 8 deaths from Covid-19 virus. Their death toll now stands at 716.
Total global cases this evening, now stand at over 46 million [Global Cases – 46,245,185] with global deaths at almost 1.2 million [Global Deaths – 1,197,619].
