4 new killer Covid-19 virus cases confirmed in Co. Tipperary
The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have been sadly 5 further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,913
There are 416 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 61,456.
Of this evening’s confirmed cases; 4 are in Co. Tipperary (Total 1,160 cases to date, per RTE summary); 87 in Dublin; 62 in Cork; 41 in Mayo; 37 in Galway; with the remaining 185 cases located across 19 other counties.
Currently, there are 320 confirmed cases of Covid-19 recorded nationally in our Irish State hospitals, with 41 of these patients in intensive care units, (ICU’s).
There are 649 new cases in Northern Ireland, with sadly a further 11 deaths from Covid-19 virus. Their death toll now stands at 708.
Total global cases this evening, now stand at almost 46 million [Global Cases – 45,821,544] with global deaths atr almost 1.2 million [Global Deaths – 1,192,217].
