5 New killer Covid-19 virus cases in Tipperary
The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have been sadly 3 new deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,838.
However, there are 1000 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 47,427. (Two Cases de-notified).

Of this evening’s confirmed cases; 5 are in Tipperary (925 cases to date); 254 are in Dublin; 102 in Meath; 88 in Cork; 81 in Cavan; 75 in Galway; and the remaining 395 cases are spread across 19 counties.
Of the cases notified today, 478 are men and 520 are women and 71% are under 45 years of age.
There have been 1,299 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Northern Ireland today and sadly 2 further death, taking the official toll to 608.
Total global cases this evening now stand at over 39 million [39,002,007] with global deaths at almost 1.1 million [1,099,469].
