Death Of Mary Doran, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Monday 28th September 2020, of Mrs Mary Doran (née O’Connell), Garranroe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Doran, passed away peacefully, following a long illness, most bravely borne and while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Patrick; sons Seamus, David and Laurence; grandchild Saoirse; daughter-in-law Catherine; sisters Alice and Ann; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Doran will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Wednesday evening next, 30th September, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (with strict adherence to social distancing and face coverings).
Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Thursday morning, October 1st, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in nearby St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
[Note: Due to HSE and government restrictions, numbers are limited within the Cathedral church building].

For the many persons unable to attend Requiem Mass for Mrs Doran, due to COVID-19 virus restrictions, her funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
