Two new killer COVID- 19 virus cases in Co. Tipperary; bringing our overall case numbers to 757.
This evening, figures from the Department of Health confirm that there has been zero new deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,792.
However, there are 396 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 32,933.
Of the new cases today: 241 are in Dublin; 36 are in Cork; 19 in Donegal; 12 in Galway; 11 each in Meath and Kildare; 9 in Monaghan; 7 in Louth, 6 each in Clare, Offaly and Waterford; 5 in Wicklow, 2 in Tipperary, with the remaining 25 cases spread across 10 other counties.
COVID-19 virus cases confirmed by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) shows global cases at almost 31 million (30,838,610) with associated global deaths sadly at almost 1 million (958,090).
