Covid-19 virus capitalises on your complacency.
Your everyday choices in the coming days, as a resident of Co. Tipperary, will be the difference between life and death; if not for you personally, then for someone else, possibly someone you love such as your mother or father or indeed one or both of you grandparents.
This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero new deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,774.
However, there are 66 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 27,257.
The breakdown of the cases are as follows: 21 in Kildare; 16 in Dublin; six in Limerick; and the rest of the 23 cases are in Tipperary, Clare, Donegal, Laois, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo and Wicklow.
Please redouble your efforts in relation to hand washing, physical distancing and reduce contacts until this virus has been destroyed.
