People are not behaving as asked and this evening’s figures are being viewed as extremly disturbing.
Perhaps now the time has come to name immediately the localised areas where new clusters are being formed; in the interests of the health and safety of vulnerable people.
People aware of large party gathering in public areas and private houses should be encouraged to immediately notify Gardaí.
Meanwhile, an agreement between the Health Service Executive and the Irish Medical Organisation to provide for free GP assessments and tests for Covid-19 has been extended for another week.
Please behave and try to do as asked with regards to social distancing
