Limerick University Hospital, the medical facility serving North Tipperary continues to care for five Covid -19 patients, however the total number of Covid-19 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; as of midnight on Sunday, June 14th, remains at 541, with Zero new cases identified over the previous 24-hour period.
This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been sadly 3 deaths caused by Covid-19 in Ireland over the last 24 hours. These latest figures leave the total number of deaths caused by this pandemic currently at 1,709.
This evening, it has also been confirmed that an additional 14 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total since conception, here in the Republic of Ireland, to 25,334.
The number of serious cases nationally, have been confirmed at 27 currently in intensive care units, with a further eight in a critical care facility.
Dublin has the highest number of cases at 12,228 (Up an extra 15 recorded cases over the past 24 hours – 48%) followed by Cork with 1,533 cases (stable over the past 24 hours – 6%) and Kildare with 1,434 cases (also stable over the past 24 hours – 6%).
