It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday 5th March 2020, of Mrs Marian Sweeney (née Maher), Church View, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Sweeney passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of the staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her husband Willie; nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law Margaret (Heffernan) and Monica (McCarthy); brothers-in-law Rodge and John; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Sweeney will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening, March 6th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, to arrive at St. Kevin’s Church, Littleton, Thurles at 7:30pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday afternoon, March 7th, at 1:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in nearby Ballymoreen Cemetery, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary .
