A serving Tipperary fireman and his co-accused have both appeared before Nenagh District Court yesterday, charged with being in possessing of cocaine for sale or supply at Nenagh Fire Station.
Mr Michael Morgan, aged 40 years, with an address at Cluain Muillean, Nenagh, and a co-accused, Mr John Walsh, aged 33 years, latter with an address at Coille Bheithe, Nenagh, were both charged at Nenagh Garda station on Thursday last with being in possessing cocaine, with a street value of €78,000, at the Tipperary Fire Service headquarters on January 17th, 2018.
Detective Garda Andrew O’Loughlin, attached to the Tipperary Divisional Drug Unit, informed Nenagh District Court that he had arrested both the accused men at their respective home addresses on February 20th last.
Each of the accused made no reply to the charges when arrested.
Judge Elizabeth MacGrath remanded both men on bail, on their own bonds of €500, to appear before Nenagh District Court again on April 17th next.
