It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 30th January 2020, of Mrs Annie Stakelum (née Callanan), Fianna Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Frank; Mrs Stakelum passed away peacefully, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and while in the care of the staff at Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny city, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sons Robert, Pat, Noel, Frank and Conor; grandchildren AnnMarie, Robbie, Darragh, Christopher, Julie, Noel-óg and Lisa Marie; great-grand-daughter Farah; daughters-in-law; sisters-in-law Sr. Imelda and Peggy (Callanan); extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Stakelum will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Saturday February 1st. from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:30pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
