Two men in their 20’s have been arrested by Gardaí and two vehicles seized for technical examination, as part of investigations into eight burglaries carried out on business premises in counties Tipperary and Limerick in the early hours of January 15th last.
The arrests were carried out by Gardaí from Henry Street Garda Station, Limerick; backed up by members of the Armed Support Unit from the Western Region and Garda members from Co. Tipperary and Co. Galway, latter who are understood to have searched three houses in Co. Galway early this morning.
The arrested men were detained at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda Stations, where they remain held under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
