It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 5th December 2019, of Mrs Margaret (Teasy) Bourke (née Shanahan), No.7 Castle Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Rathmanna and Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Tom; the passing of Mrs Bourke is most deeply regretted by her sister Daisy; brothers-in-law Johnny and Denis; sister-in-law Pat; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Bourke, will lie in repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Saturday evening, December 7th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm; to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Borrisoleigh, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday morning, December 8th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in nearby Borrisoleigh cemetery.
