“Just another few events for children here in Thurles library! Trying to keep everybody busy this month!
Saturday 12th October:
A “Dress The Scarecrow” workshop will be held at Thurles library. Note: Scarecrows are being provided, so do bring along some old clothes to dress your scarecrow. This event is suitable for primary school children aged 8 – 12yrs.
A prize will be given on the day for the best dressed scarecrow. Event bookable via Telephone No. 0761-06-6131.
Thursday 31st October:
It’s getting close to that time of year again – Halloween! Please do join us in Thurles library, for a day full of Halloween fun starting with our “Toddler Story-time” at 11:00am.
Tony Baloney will cause “Magic Mayhem” from 2:30pm with his magic show! So don’t miss a trick, do book your child’s name in before the spaces disappear! Telephone No. 0761-06-6131
Finally we will host a “Halloween Story Time” for children over 6yrs, from 3:45pm. Come listen to some great stories like “Room On A Broom”, “The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything”, followed by an oppertunity to “dance – dance – dance” to some great music, to complete this upcoming very busy day with the staff of Thurles library.”
