Woman Dead Following Thurles Vehicle collision

A female in her mid 60’s has died following a vehicle collision at Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The collision, which happened between a car and a truck, is understood to have occurred at around 2.30am.

The body removed from the car was brought to University Hospital Limerick, where a post mortem is due to take place. The driver of the truck, a man in his mid-40’s, thankfully was not injured.

Garda Collision Investigators at the scene closed the road and diversions remain in place.
