It was with sadness that we learned of the death on Friday last, April 26th 2019, of Mrs Loretta (Jennings) Tynan, Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of East Wall Road, Co. Dublin, [wife of Mr Gerry Tynan, latter formerly of No. 42 Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Tynan passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, surrounded by her loving family; following a long illness, most bravely borne.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Gerry; brother Jim; family members, including parents-in-law Joe and Nancy Tynan (Thurles); brother-in-law Rev. Fr. Joe Tynan P.P. (Kilteely, Co Limerick); Staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown; Mater Private; Cancer Society Nursing Service; neighbours and many close friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Tynan will lie in repose at her home this afternoon, Sunday April 28th, and also on tomorrow afternoon, Monday April 29th, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, with removal on Monday, April 29th, to the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Laurel Lodge Rd, Carpenterstown, Castleknock, Dublin 15, for arrival at 6.00pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 30th, at 11.30am, followed by a cremation service in Dardistown Crematorium, Old Airport Rd, Commons, Co. Dublin.
