A ‘Status Yellow’ wind warning has been issued for Co. Tipperary tomorrow; together with the counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Donegal and Waterford.
This storm, named ‘Storm Hannah’, is expected to materialise from 11:00pm tomorrow night (Friday) through to around 5:00am on the following morning (Saturday), bringing rain and possible wind gusts of up to 110km/h, (70 mls/h).
The forecaster, Met Éireann, in prophesying these conditions of stormy weather; are urging motorists, in particular, to prepare for dangerous driving conditions and possible power outages, caused by falling trees and branches.
