It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 19th April 2019, of Mr Denis (Dinny) Manton, Borroway, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his parents and infant sister; Mr Manton passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness most bravely borne.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Geraldine; sons Martin and Denis; daughters Majella and Maria; grandchildren Keith, Shane, Ciara, Martin and Callum; son-in-law Eddie; daughter-in-law Aileen; sisters Margaret, Ena, Marian and Anne; brothers-in-law Stephen, John and Jimmy; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Manton will lie in repose at Egan’s Funeral Home Lognafulla, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Sunday evening, April 21st from 4.30pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning, April 22nd, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
