It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 31st October 2018, of Mr William (Billy) Rigney, Curraheenduff, Coalbrook, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Ardcon, Gurteen, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Rigney passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his wife Anne (née St John); sons Joseph and Jer; grandchildren Katie, James, Aimee and Billy; brothers Martin, Christy and Paddy; sister Nora; daughter-in-law Sandra; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law John and Terry; sisters-in-law Brenda, Annie and Margaret; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Rigney lay in repose today at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles , (Thursday 1st November), from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and arrived at the Church of St. Patrick & St. Oliver, in the village of Glengoole, Thurles, at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place tomorrow, Friday 2nd November, at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Boulick graveyard Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
