It is with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 7th September 2018, of Mr Ambrose (Amby) Walsh Glanmire, Co. Cork and late of Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Walsh passed away, peacefully, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, surrounded by his family.
The devoted father of Ita (nee Murphy) and loving father to Kevin and adored granddad to Rachel, Kate and Emma. Sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter-in-law Colette; grandchildren; sisters; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Walsh will repose at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood Glanmire, Co. Cork from Monday next with removal at 6.00pm, (same day Monday) to St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire, Co. Cork.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.
