It is with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday 6th September 2018, of Mrs Nora Maher (née Callanan), Beakstown, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Maher passed away peacefully while in the wonderful care of the staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Danny and daughter Breda; her passing is most deeply regretted by her son Donal; daughter Ann (Costello), sisters Kitty (Mockler) and Annie (Stakelum); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Patricia; son-in-law Roger; nephews; nieces; sister-in law Peggie (Mockler); extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Maher will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening Friday, 7th September, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at Holycross Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, on Saturday 8th September at 11.45am.
Requiem Mass will take place at 12.00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
