It is with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 15th June 2018, of Mrs Monica (Mona) Kennedy (née O’Gorman), The Amber’s, Glenbane Lower, Holycross, Tipperary and formerly of Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Mrs Kennedy passed away following a short illness, surrounded by her family, while in the wonderful care of the Oncology Dept, Beacon Hospital, Dublin.
Pre-deceased by her brother Michael and sister Angela; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Aidan (Dr), daughters Patricia and Maeve; sons Paul and Kevin; grandchildren Sara, Suf, Iman, Edith and Niamh; sisters Celiné and Sr Edna (Medical Missionary’s), brothers Martin, Noel and Fintan; daughters-in-law Helen and Lesley; nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law Anna, Barbara-Anne, Frances, Iseult, Aileen, Maeve and Irene; brothers-in-law Tom and Bob; cousins; relatives; good neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Kennedy will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday 17th June, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, to arrive at Holycross Abbey at 6.45pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Monday morning, 18th June at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
