It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 8th March 2018, of Mr George Buckley, No.4 Shyan Terrace, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Buckley passed away peacefully while in the care of University Hospital, Limerick (UHL).
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary; daughters Edel and Miriam; sons Francis and Paul; son-in-law Finbar; brothers Dick and Tommy; sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Buckley will lie in repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Sunday evening next from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption at 8.00pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 11.00am, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
