Jim Kelly was a gentleman and a brilliant teacher.
Although I wasn’t great at woodwork, he was always an encouraging influence. After I left school, I met him many times in the Monks public house on Mitchel street and he was always interested in how I was doing.
My condolences, thoughts and prayers go to his family and many friends.
Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilís Mr Kelly.
