It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 25th December 2017, of Mrs Bridget (Bridie) Duggan (née Hennelly), Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Tooreen, Partry, Co. Mayo.
Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) and son John; Mrs Duggan passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of Acorn Lodge, Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughters Ann, Margaret and Mary; sons Liam, Tony, Martin and Michael; sisters Peg (McLoughlin), Sarah (McAndrew) and Anne (Corbett); her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughters in law; son in law; sisters in law Kitty Grant and Nancy Hennelly; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Duggan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening, December 29th, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, on Saturday morning December 30th at 10.15am for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
