It was with great sadness we learned of the passing today, Monday 21st August 2017, of Mrs Margaret (Peig) O’Rourke (née Maher), Bouladuff (Post Office), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, latter who sadly passed away on the same date in 1979, and a caring sister to the late Maura, Kathy, Mick and Phil (Pallashill); Mrs O’Rourke passed away peacefully at her home, as was her wish, while in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving and caring family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughter Mary; sons Donnacha, Jerome, Seamus and Paudie; in-laws; grandchildren; extended relatives; friends; carers and neighbours.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs O’Rourke will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch, Thurles, on tomorrow evening Tuesday, August 22nd, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.
Arriving at the Church of St. Lawrence O’Toole, Inch, Thurles, on Wednesday morning at 11.00am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Upperchurch Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
