It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Wednesday 22nd March 2017, of Mr Francis Maher, Glenbane, Holycross, Co. Tipperary and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his loving wife Mai (nee Dwan), brothers Philip, Michael, Kevin, and his sister Margaret; Mr Maher passed away peacefully while in his 93rd year.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his sons Matthew, Roger and Paul; sister Nancy (Hickey); daughters-in-law Anne and Siobhan; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow Thursday, 23rd March, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at Holycross Abbey on Friday morning, 24th March, at 11.00am.
Requiem Mass will take place at 11.30 am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
