It is with a deep sense of personal sadness I learned of the death today, Thursday 3rd November 2016, of Mrs Ann Gleeson (née O’Dwyer), No. 2, Dalcassian Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Peacefully at her home and while in the loving care of her family; Mrs Gleeson passed away from an illness most bravely borne.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Joe; daughter Marian; son Joseph (Comdt. Óglaigh na hÉireann), grandchildren Bill and Emily; son-in-law John; daughter-in-law Anne Marie; sister Mary; brothers Michael, Edward and Tommy; Catherine and Tom; brother-in-law Ollie; sisters-in-law Joan and Margaret; nephews; nieces; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Gleeson will repose in Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Saturday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm; to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Cathedral St., Thurles at 8.30pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday at 12.00 noon, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
