The male occupant of a vehicle has died following a tragic accident at around 2.00am in North Tipperary this morning.
The sole occupant of the vehicle; a man believed to be in his 30’s, died when his car left the road and struck a fence on the N52 near Ardcroney, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
The unfortunate victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital in Limerick.
The road remained closed this morning, at the crash scene, pending forensic collision investigations, with diversions fully in place.
