It was with sadness we learned of the death, on Sunday 28th February 2016, of Mrs Brigid McCormack (née Ryan Darby), Kilcommon Cross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs McCormack, formerly of Loughisle, Kilcommon, was the beloved wife of the late Ted and sister of the late Kitty. A valued member of the management team at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross and a retired publican; Mrs McCormack passed away suddenly after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of the staff at the Blackrock Clinic, Dublin.
Mrs McCormack’s passing is most deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughters and sons, Mary, Cáit, Anne, Lucie, John, Martin, Edward and Mike; her brother Michael, sister Mary, daughters-in-law, Anne, Siobhán and Emily, son-in-law William Kennedy, her adoring grandchildren Christina, Cormac, Andre, Bryan, Tadhg, Will, Caoimhe, Luke, Kate and Ava, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs McCormack will repose tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Family Funeral Home, Kilcommon from 5:30pm with removal at 8:00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon.
Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:30am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. NOTE: Family flowers only please, however donations, if desired, to Irish Heart Foundation.
