A male, aged 36, has been arrested in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, following a joint planned Garda drugs operation.
Those involved included Revenue Officials, Customs Service, Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, together with the Nenagh Divisional Garda Drugs Unit.
Around 2 kilos of Cannabis Herb was understood to have been recovered following the raid, reportedly with an estimated street value in excess of €40,000.
The man arrested at the scene, is presently being detained at Nenagh Garda Station under provisions laid down by Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
