It is with regret we report that a woman has died following a house fire in Co Tipperary.
The woman, believed to be aged in her mid to late sixties, was discovered at a house in Kilregane, Lorrha, Co. Tipperary at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
The body of the woman, as yet unnamed, was removed to University Hospital Limerick, where a post mortem examination is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, but we understand they are currently not treating the incident as being in any way suspicious.
