The 2015 upcoming Munster Hurling Final Clash between Tipperary and Waterford is now most likely set to go ahead at Semple Stadium, here in Thurles.
Tipperary set up the this much anticipated encounter with the Waterford side on Sunday last following their polished performance against Limerick in their semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds (Páirc na nGael), which saw a classy Tipperary team come out convincing winners, overcoming their rivals by 4-23 (35 pts) to 1-16 (19 pts).
With Páirc Uí Chaoimh is currently unavailable due to major stadium redevelopment, choices of venue could include the Páirc na nGael in Limerick or Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney, however if Waterford are agreeable, Tipperary could benefit from a slight home advantage.
Final public confirmation on this July 12th venue is expected to be officially confirmed following tonight’s meeting of the Munster Competitions Control Committee.
