Mr John Esmonde
Gardaí are seeking your assistance in their attempts to locate a 38-year-old man who has been missing from his home in Tipperary Town for over a week.
Mr John Esmonde was last seen on Wednesday, March 11th, at 10.00pm on the Main Street in Tipperary town.
When last seen Mr Esmonde is understood to have been wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue denim trousers and a black woollen hat. He was also carrying a brown coloured shopping bag at the time.
Mr Esmonde is 38 years old, 5 feet – 8 inches in height, of strong build, with blue eyes and short, dark coloured hair.
Gardaí are extremely concerned for his welfare and anyone with any information are asked to contact Tipperary Garda station on Tel: 062-51212, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or indeed any Garda Station.
UPDATE: (20th March 2015) It is with great sadness we report that the remains of missing 38 year old Mr John Esmonde were located on the outskirts of Tipperary town yesterday afternoon. We understand Gardaí are treating his death as a tragedy.
