Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 60 year old Ms Marian Power, latter missing since Monday January 12th 2015 last.
Ms Power was last seen shortly before 9.00am on Monday in the Lucan area of Co. Dublin.
The missing lady is understood to be originally from the Newtown area, situated on the R445, approximately 12 minutes drive west of Roscrea, Co Tipperary. To this end Gardaí are asking people to keep an eye out in the off chance that she may have made her way back to this Co. Tipperary/Co. Offaly border locality.
Ms Power is described as 5′-2″ in height, of slim build with brown hair. When last seen she was wearing a dark coloured anorak, light beige coloured jeans, red boots, a multicoloured woolly hat and spectacles.

A body found during a search operation in West Dublin has been identified as that of missing woman Marian Power. The Garda water unit discovered Marian’s body in the River Liffey at Strawberry Beds shortly after lunchtime this afternoon.
