Expect temporary road closures on the L4105-14 from Shanbally Cross to Moycarkey and the R659 from Padre Pio Nursing Home to the Yellow Lough in Co Tipperary between March and May next.
To this end ‘Notices’ have been given by North Tipperary County Council under the Roads Act 1993 – 2007 (Section 75 Of The Roads Act 1993) Roads Regulations 1994.
According to North Tipperary County Council these road closures are expected to begin on March 3rd 2014, reopening again on May 2nd 2014 (both dates inclusive).
Alternative Routes: Diversion for the L4104-14 will be via Horse and Jockey, i.e. R639, N62 and L4106 and vice versa. Diversion for the R659 via Holycross and Thurles, i.e. R660, Butler Avenue and R659 and vice versa.
The purpose of these closures are to facilitate the installation of new watermains. Diversions are expected be in place and clearly signposted.
