The wedding took place yesterday of the very lovely Miss Ciara-Lee Moran, daughter of Mrs Lorraine & Mr Anthony Moran, to Mr Gary Whittle son of Mrs Norma & Mr Ken Whittle and brother to Mrs Jennifer Cleary, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.
Their marriage took place in the beautiful rustic Church of St Mary’s, Geashill, Co Offaly, with the ceremony conducted by the Rector, Rev. Canon David Hutonbury
Escorted down the aisle by her father Anthony, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in a full length A-line, semi fishtail, Marie McElheron bespoke design, chiffon, ivory wedding gown decorated with beaded detail.
Equally beautiful was her accompanying Bridesmaid, Miss Orlaith Doheny, latter who wore a red 50’s style, shaped A-line gown with matching red ribbon, highlighted by vintage pearl jewelled accessories.
The Groom, Garry and his Best man, Mr Kenneth Whittle (Brother) both looked dashing in Charcoal Grey evening suits & Egg-Cream shirts, elegantly highlighted by red ties and matching handkerchiefs.
The couple proclaimed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of family and close friends, with music for the church ceremony provided by vocalist Miss Pauline Moran on guitar. Scripture readings were undertaken by close friends of the couple.
Following the marriage ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Whittle retired to the very popular wedding venue, the magnificent 4 Star, Mullingar Park Hotel where guests, under the most helpful eye of Wedding Co-ordinator, Miss Emelda Murray, were entertained to traditional seasonal hot punch, together with a host of other light refreshments.
Following family photographs the newly married couple joined their guests in the venues main Banqueting Suite for dinner, which was immediately followed by dancing very late into the evening.
The couple have chosen Tuscany, latter a region in central Italy, as their favoured honeymoon destination & so to Ciara-Lee & Garry go all our best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous life together.
Lovely couple. Every good wish for the future.
