The Tipperary Star newspaper & TippFM radio are both reporting that two men are being detained at Thurles & Templemore Garda stations, following the discovery of Cannabis plants in a warehouse, near the village of Moyne, Thurles, Co Tipperary, yesterday afternoon.
The plants, understood to have a value in excess of €100,000, were seized by Gardaí, operating from the Templemore Garda station district, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The two men in custody are believed to be from the area, one aged in his 50’s the other in his 30’s were both arrested as part of this Garda investigation.
Up to 800 cannabis plants worth an estimated €650,000 were discovered and seized in a raid at Moanfin, Nenagh, County Tipperary in August last, while Gardaí also seized cannabis, both plant and herb, valued at more than €900,000 in Borrisokane village in Tipperary in April 2011.

Must have been a window box in someone’s house the way the price is rising, TIME TO START TAXING IT!
It’s the only thing going up in value these days, and sounds like a lot less work than growing sugar beet etc
