Newly Weds Mrs Brigid & Mr Ian Ryan
The sun smiled bright and warm yesterday for the wedding of very lovely Miss Brigid Ryan, daughter of Mrs Helen and Mr John Ryan Mantlehill, Golden, Co. Tipperary, to Mr Ian Ryan, son of Mrs Breda and Mr Tom Ryan, Ballymore, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.
Escorted down the aisle by her father John, the bride looked breathtaking in a white brushed silk, afternoon gown, with sequined halterneck, pleated bodice, latter highlighted beautifully by a single tiered full length veil.
Equally beautiful were her bridesmaids, Niamh Ryan and Joanne Donnelly, both attired in full-length, backless, mid ‘Grape Blue’coloured, evening gowns, with crossover pleated bodices.
The groom, Ian, together with his two groomsmen Patrick Ryan and Kenny Ryan added further to the splendour of the occasion, dressed in dark grey evening suits, light grey waistcoats, white wing collar shirts and matching white silk cravats.
The couple publicly declared their love for each other in front of a large gathering of family and close friends, while music and song for the ceremony was performed by extraordinary talented family members, from both their families.
Following the ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Ryan both retired to the popular four star wedding venue, the River Court Hotel, John Street, Kilkenny City, where guests were entertained to a champagne reception, together with other assorted light refreshments.
Following family photographs in the beautiful grounds adjoining their chosen venue, the newly married couple joined their guests in the River Court’s Banqueting Suite, where a lavish dinner was enjoyed, followed by live music and dancing very late into the evening.
The couple chose South Africa as their favoured honeymoon destination.
To Brigid and Ian go the good wishes of all their families members and many friends here in Co.Tipperary, for a happy, healthy and prosperous life together and their gratitude for a most enjoyable day of celebration.
