TV brunette beauty Colette Fitzpatrick was married quietly in her village church in Holycross Abbey, Thurles, Co.Tipperary yesterday.
The 34 year old TV3 News Anchor, midday TV Hostess and natural beauty, married her 36year old boyfriend of five years standing, Station Director Niall McDermott.
In the quiet of this historic Abbey, approximately twenty guests, mainly family and a few close friends, listened to the couple exchange their vows in the presence of celebrant and local parish priest Fr.Tom Breen.
The stunning bride, who was escorted down the isle by her father Peter Fitzpatrick, wore a traditional white hand made backless gown, beaded on the shoulders and waist, with plunging neckline, made especially for the occasion by the young Irish designer John McCormack.
The groom arrived dressed in a grey pinstripe suit with silver embroidered tie. The simple elegance of both their outfits totally matched the setting of Holycross Abbey and further highlighting the couple visually.
Following the ceremony the happy couple together with their families and friends moved to the near-bye town of Cashel where all were entertained to a reception at the Chez Hands restaurant.
The event was photographed by two lady photographers, working in available sodium light, who also took on a security roll, appearing to be obsessed that a few admiring locals were all members of the worlds press and forbidding any camera use.
From all your friends and many admirers in Co.Tipperary, best wishes to you both for a happy and prosperous life together.
